Third Weekend in August – Come out for the Zinnia and Monarch Festival held at the Zion Park District Bandshell, 2400 Dowie Memorial Drive from 1-5pm. Contests you can enter include: Cut Flower Contest, Photo Contest, Poster Contest, Costume Contest, and maybe a Bull-riding, Donut Eating, Custard Eating and a Watermelon Eating Contest too! – see the website for details on all contests!
